Jésula Maçenat

Jésula habite avec nous depuis Juin 2012.

Elle nous a été confier par son père, après la mort de son grand frère. Son frère avait été placé dans notre orphelinat par l'assistante sociale de l'hopital. Il était arrivé dans l'après-midi avec son père. Il a joué un peu mais était très faible dû à la malnutrition. La nuit même pendant son sommeil, il a eu deux diarhée et il mourrut. Lorsque nous l'avons réalisé, nous l'avons apporter à l'hopital, et ils croient que c'était le choléra. Quelques jours plus tard, le père est venu nous demander de prendre soins de sa petite fille. Il ne nous blâmait pas pour la mort de son garçon. Il réalisait que ça avait été trop tard pour lui. Il ne voulait pas que la même chose arrive à sa fille. Au début, lorsque Jésula arriva, elle ne parlait pas et avait aucune expression faciale. Elle avait la diarhée constamment. Nous avons découvert qu'elle avait un intolérance au lactose. L'hopital a fait quelques examens et nous avons découvert que Jésula n'a pas le VIH. Grâce à Dieu!

Depuis qu'elle habite à l'orphelinat, Jésula a perdu ses cheveux orangés, qui sont maintenant noirs et en santés. Elle sourit et rit, et démontre une multitude d'expressions. Elle parle et répête tout ce que Jessica dit. Elle est une jeune fille très borné et têtue. Elle est maintenant en santé!

 Jésula has been living with us since June 2012.

She has been put in our care by her father, after the death of her older brother. Her brother was previously placed at the orphanage; he arrived in the afternoon with his father. He played a little bit but was very weak from malnutrition. That same night while he was sleeping Israel had two diarrheas and died. When we realised this, we went to the hospital and they think it might have been cholera. A couple of days later, the father came to ask us to care for his little baby girl. He did not blame us for the death of his boy. He knew it had been too late for him. He did not want the same thing to happen to Jésula. When she first arrived Jésula did not talk nor have any facial expressions. She had diarrhea constantly. The hospital did some tests and found out that she is not HIV positive. Thank God!

Since coming to the orphanage, Jésula has lost her brownish-orange hair, which is now healthy black. She smiles and laughs and shows a multitude of expressions. She talks and parrots everything Jessica says. She is a stubborn little girl. She is healthier and we are not giving her any milk that contains lactose, which seems to help with the diarrhea problem.
