Anchella Mathieu

- Née le 25 Février 2003

Anchella habite avec nous depuis le 9 Décembre 2011.

Sa mère  est  décédée du VIH. Son père est vivant, mais refuse d'intégrer un enfant infectée du VIH dans sa nouvelle famille recomposée. La grand-mère d'Anchella prenait soin d'elle jusqu'à ce que sa santé personnelle ne le lui permette plus. Sur demande du père, les services sociaux du programme VIH/SIDA  ont décidé de placer Anchella dans notre orphelinat. Due a l'abandon de son père et de la santé instable de sa grand-mère, l'adhérence d'Anchella aux médicaments à été très difficile.
 
Depuis qu'elle reste avec nous, Anchella a une meilleure adhérence et santé. Elle est une jeune fille souriante, intelligente et affectueuse. Elle est maintenant en deuxième année fondamentale.

Anchella lives with us since December 09 2011.

Her deceased mother was HIV infected. Her father is alive, but unwilling to accept an HIV infected child into his new family. Anchella’s grandmother was taking care of her until her health wouldn’t allow it anymore. On demand of the father, the social services of the HIV/AIDS program have decided to place Anchella at our orphanage. Due to her father’s neglect and grandmother’s poor health, Anchella’s adherence to medication and presence for hospital appointments has been very difficult.

Since living with us, Anchella has a better adherence and health. She is a smiling, intelligent and affectionate young girl. She is now attending school in second grade on a regular basis.
