Widberlin Metellus

- Née en  10 Avril 2007

Il est arrivé à l'orphelinat le 9 Mars 2013.

Il habitait avec sa mère et son grand frère avant de venir chez nous. Il a une paralysie cérébral et ne peut pas encore marcher. Il allait déjà à l'école pour enfant handicappé et continue d'y aller. Sa mère et  l'assistante sociale, ont insisté pour qu'on le prenne à charge, puisque sa mère  n'arrive plus à le transporter à l'école et au rendez-vous à l'hopital. Elle n'a pas l'argent nécessaire pour continuer de l'envoyer à l'école, ni pour payer pour la thérapie dont il a besoin ainsi que les prothèses pour ses jambes et chevilles. Widberlin est un enfant heureux qui sourit constamment. Il rampe à quatre patte partout et touche à tout. Il est très actif et semble extrèmement intelligent. il parle tout le temps et donne de l'affection gratuitement. Il s'entend bien avec tout le monde à l'orphelinat et nous l'aimons tous. Il est maintenant capable de faire les suivi mensuels de l'hopital et commence a prendre ses médicaments régulièrement.

Depuis qu'il est arrivé à l'orphelinat il continue de sourire, rire et aimer. Nous essayons de prendre des rendez-vous avec un physiothérapeute pour lui. Nous voulons également lui procurer des prothèses et une marchette.

He has arrived at the orphanage March 09 2013.

He used to live with his mother and older brother. He has cerebral palsy and cannot walk properly yet. He was already attending a school for handicapped children and will continue going, even though he lives at the orphanage now. His mother and the social services assistant both insisted that we should take him, since the mother cannot transport him to school anymore because of his weight. The mother doesn’t have the money to continue sending him to school, or to pay for therapy and the prosthesis that he needs for his legs and ankles. He is an always-smiling and cheerful little boy. He crawls everywhere and touches everything. He is very active and seems extremely smart. He talks constantly and gives affection freely. He has made a connection with everyone at the orphanage and we all love him. He will be able to attend his monthly appointments at the hospital and will start to take his medication regularly.

Since coming to the orphanage he has continued to smile, laugh and love. He was overjoyed to discover strollers, where he can sit and be pushed around. We will be looking into getting appointments with a physiotherapist, getting prostheses and a walker for him.
