Thama est arrivée chez nous le 26 Mars 2013.

Elle est venue chez nous malgré le fait que son père est vivant et en santé. Sa mère est décédée, et Thama habitait avec son père depuis lors. Son père est maçon, et quittait la maison très tôt le matin, laissant la voisine en charge de Thama jusqu'à tard le soir. Toutefois, celle-ci ne donnait pas les médicaments à Thama pour son SIDA et sa Tuberculose. Thama a été hospitalisée plusieurs mois et son père ne lui administrait toujours pas les médicaments correctement. L'assistante sociale de l'hopital nous l'a confiée due à la 'négligence' de son père. La petite Thama est très heureuse d'être à l'orphelinat. Elle aime beaucoup son père et semblait très insécure, mais s'est heureusement adaptée très rapidement à l'ambiance familiale et active de l'orphelinat Joie de Vivre. Elle a les cheveux roux due à la malnutrition, et elle est très foncée, probablement due au fait qu'elle passait énormément de temps à l'extérieur au soleil. Elle sourit constamment et suit Marie-Djounie partout. On voit qu'elle est très influencée par la musique, tout comme Djounie.

Thama has arrived on march 26 2013.

Thama has come to our orphanage although her father is alive and well. Her mother is deceased and Thama has been living with her father ever since. Her father is a mason, and leaves the house very early and returns late at night, leaving his little girl with the neighbor. The lady next door took good care of Thama, but did not administer the medications properly, causing many hospitalizations. Even after many months of hospitalizations, her father still did not give the medications properly for her AIDS and TB, two important sicknesses that could cause death if not treated properly. The hospital's social assistant, has entrusted Thama to us due to her father's ' criminial neglect'.

Thama is happy at the orphanage. She loves her father and seemed very insecure, but has thankfully adapted very easily and quickly to the active family atmosphere of Joy of Living Orphanage. She doesn't talk alot, has orange hair due to malnutrition and her skin is very dark colored because of the amount of time she seems to have spent under the sun's rays. She smiles all the time and follows Marie-Djounie everywhere. We can see that she loves music and dancing, same as Djounie.
